Pete Fortune
is an illustrator at heart. He is consumed by his artistry, drawing since childhood. While working on a mural in the 90s at a local tattoo shop, he began a traditional tattoo apprenticeship. Seeking inspiration, he moved to New York City and began his tattoo career. Learning and working with influential artists in the city it became evident that tattooing would be a life-long pursuit. He has traveled from the east to the west coast landing back RI, tattooing in Newport for the last 13 years. Fortune Tattoos has now found a permanent home on Historic Thames Street, in Newport RI.
